What's wrong with this bag?

I was driving along one day and all of a sudden, I was pulling to the right. I thought at first I blew a tire. Turns out it was my passenger front airbag. As soon as I would air it up, it would drop right back down.

So I took the Touareg home and eliminated the line or controller as the issue. Once I set the bag to fill, I sprayed it with some degreaser and found the leak to be coming from the top of the bag. It's almost like the crimp on the bag is loose or something, since its coming from that high up.

What do you all think?

Should I take the strut apart and take the bag to a local shop? Or should I just buy a new bag??

Is that a UAS bag ?

You would have to send it out to them to be re crimped. They have a special tool to make it happen, a local shop wouldn't be able to take care of it

Yes, its a Universal Aero Power Sport. I got a response from my local air suspension shop, and they basically said the same thing. Come buy a new bag.

I checked out the site for Universal Air Suspension, but they don't have any contact info. I don't suppose you have a contact there...?

Or, if worst case scenario comes up, maybe have a better price than $180..?

Thanks for the info. For some reason, I couldn't get it to pop up.

I ordered up a new bag (from a different online retailer). As soon as it arrives, I'll toss it in and maybe update with some photos.

Hopefully the other 3 bags don't have the same issue anytime soon. I usually like replacing in pairs... but I figure I might as well wait until I have an actual failure...
