    Can the 255lph fit in the stock basket?? Car is a 2001 1.8t, input would be greatly appreciated.

    I installed a gss340. Not sure if it is the same or not.

    Either way, I found a couple rubber o rings to go on the outside that would fit it tight into the basket.

    what did you do with your filter? the bottom of the gss340 is notched weird so it doesnt sit flush? thinking of cutting the bottom of the basket to the id of the pump.

    So the black wire is the positive wire on the stock pump? Im fairly certain it is, just seems odd.

    Yes, brown is negative.
