Sunroof Drain question, looking for a solution

The other day during a heavy rain i took on quite a bit of water in the passenger footwell area. The sun visor was also wet on that side.
My initial thought was the sunroof drain was clogged but I opened the sunroof and tested it and saw that water did flow out the door
drain but some did enter the car. So i am not clogged I guess I might have a crack??? This also would not explain the sun visor being wet.
In any event I was thinking instead of ripping the car apart to install a new drain (assuming the old is cracked) is there a way to thread a
slightly smaller drain through the old one as an easier fix? anyone done this with success??? thank you

I had a crack on mine (rear right) where the hose fit onto the sunroof tray. I took some clear silicone and basically gooped it all around to make sure I covered it all, and since then, no leaks
