VCDS- I think I messed up

Ok so I just got an S3 and this is the 4th vehicle I've done mods to, this however has been a definitely different than some of the others, but I think it was when I did the exhaust valve mod that I messed something up. I adjusted the exhaust valve all fine and dandy in acc mode, I always check for faults before I close out, which there was faults and being tired I closed out too quickly. To add on to the cluster fuck I decided to start it since I was hot from sitting in the garage.

Long story short my car doesn't go into acc mode just straight to starting and after I stop the engine it doesn't go into acc mode. I think I found the issue I don't know if I switched or adjusting the exhaust flaps made it switch my car to a manual transmission, but its reading it as a manual instead of a DSG. Hindsight is always 20/20 and pretty frustrated, any help would be appreciated.

Nope, foot off the brake. Car starts right up and acc mode for when you shut it off is not active either.

I figured out how to hack it, I put the car in drive and turned it off. Still shut off so I closed my eyes and tried to start it and it went into acc mode. Fixed one problem, now on to the others

Well before I didn't want to drive it when it thought it was a manual lol, but now it's a possibility I like fixing my fuck ups on my own, but we'll see. Today is my last day off for the month.

what exactly do you mean by manual?
there is no clutch and it doesn't have a manual gear stick transmission to shift . I am confused.

When I was going to engine it would say it was a manual transmission. That was why I couldn't access accessory mode, it would just start like the clutch was always engaged. Blew my mind for awhile.
