Anyone else smoke their stock clutch after APR Stage 2+?

Guys, I bought the car with 40,000 KM on the clock and decided to do APR Stage 2+ like 600KM ago. I beat the crap out of it, I do, but fuck, I wasn't expecting the clutch to degrade that quickly. The Friday before the one just passed, I noticed it slipping a little and thought...time for a new clutch. Monday morning, I BARELY got to work. It was slipping allllll kinds on the highway. As soon as I got off of the highway, smoke was pouring out of my hood, just wreaking of clutch. I had to bring it up to like 5K RPM just to get it rolling to get to my company's shop down the road.

I'm not sure how the previous owner drove the car or how much (or little) the oem clutches are good for, but damn man. Anyway, car's at the shop and waiting for it's turn to get worked on, I'm really curious to see what this clutch looks like. I have a Southbend Endurance stage 2 coming. Should have me covered when I go APR Stage 3

I think the Southbend stage 3 endurance would be a better choice. Has proven to work good on APR stage 3 S5's. I read on another site where the stage 2 didn't hold up.

That comes as a surprise.. I thought the stock clutches are good to 400lbs of tq before they start to shit the bed. Which shop did you take it to?

My A5 is a K04, Meth, APR 2+... I could slip the clutch if I tried at a start, but changed the clutch (stage III Eurocode) anyway while migrating to a light-weight flywheel.

Hmm still surprised the clutch is gone so early. Especially since there's other 5 members running stage 2 on the stock clutch. Calgary Auto Works is a good shop. Chris and the team do excellent work.
