Wheel Advice: Will these work and what size tire?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am a wheel and tire noob. Found some wheels locally and was wondering if they'll work, here are the specs:

    18x9
    Bolt Pattern: 5x112mm
    Backspace: 6.25"
    Offset: 32mm

I have 17z's wondering if using spacers with these will cause me to stick out too much in the front.
Just from searching around it sounds like using any spacer at all will make the wheel stick too far out.
As for tires, I am wondering what is the meatiest tire I can fit, I don't want to stretch. I can roll fenders if needed. Any recommendations on size?

    Thanks for any help.

Saw this just now. For your information, here are the specs needed to have wheels sit perfectly flush with the fenders:

    8.5" Wide
    ET of 35mm

You can run an 18x9" your offset of 32mm is tad high. For reference, here are some pictures:

^ This picture shows what an 18x8.5" ET32mm Wheel looks like with a 225/40 tire

    ^ This picture shows an 18x9" ET35mm wheel with a 235/35 tire

Long story short, you can run those, but you cant be too low. I would recommend starting with an 18x8.5 ET35mm wheel and go from there. You can roll fenders, etc to get more wheel under, but dont forget to account for the clearance between the wheel and spindle.

Depending on wheel/spoke design, a 32mm should fit. I have Ssr Gt3 in a 18x9 +32 and they fit awesome, no rubbing and i have 18z on my car. My street setup is vmr 702 19x9.5 +32, with 235/35. I had to roll my fenders there but not for the 18's.

Not sure about brake clearance but you should be fine fender-wise.

Look in the wheel fitment thread. I posted pics of my car on 18x9 +35 with 235/40
