Just bought a 2012 A6 3.0t

Hey Guys,

just picked up a 2012 A6 with the 3.0t and im interested in the chipwerke piggyback on there website they have 2 options for my motor the 300hp and the 333hp supercharged I have the 310 hp 3.0t can you tell me which one I would need?

From looking on apr website going stage 2 on 91 octane is only a 5hp difference 9 more pounds of torque. Honestly I don't think the stage 2 would be worth the money.

have you gotten a chance to check out ours as well? This can be either tuned at home VIA Dim sport or you can do the tuning box. The difference between the two is mainly the tuning box can be removed at any time and is a plug and play harness.

VR Tuned.

I personally own an S4 with the 3.0T so I am very familiar with this engine as I have been working with this car for many years.

stage 2 is all about low end torque.
I had chipwereke prior to stage 2, yet you get some gain but i wasn't impressed with the gain (maybe 93 will feel it more)
but going from stock to stage 2 is a day and night difference.

Self install in 10 minutes, very easy. As for HP gain its proven to be 50ish WHP using 93 on S4.
Don't know about 91 gas

Absolutely, this! That extra low end torque is what it's all about. Stage 1 (while great for what it is) was no fun for me unless I was revving the snot out of the engine. Stage 2, you'll notice the second you pull out of the parking lot.
