Front end drops when car is off

    hi all,

I have been experiencing a few issues with my 2006 audi a8.
first started with the front end dropping while the car was off more from the driver side, seemed like it must have been a leak since I would here the compressor turning off and on every minute or so, the next day as I was driving I heard a loud "hzz" and noticed the 2 suspension lights blinking, I got out the car and saw that the front end was completely down, with the compressor still going, It will not come back up, can this be just one strut causing the whole front end not to pick up or can it be some leak elsewhere?

    please help thanks.

Hello I just helped a friend with his a8 same problem but the car would no longer air up. The leak was coming out of the top of the driver strut. He bought a new strut and it fixed the problem. It was fairly easy to replace to. He bought a rebuilt strut not a new one. It looked brand new when we pulled it out of the box. There is a good you tube vid of some one removing a air strut I used that and common sense and boom replaced! Let me know if you have questions I can walk you through it
