ST Coilovers issues * HELP *

I purchase and had St coilovers professionally install last June. Sadly a couple things arn't right and I wanted to know if others have experienced similar.

    1. At less than 10k miles (16k kms) both rear shocks are blown. Their warranty is inspect and rebuild, which does not suit my needs.

    2. The rear... Does anyone else have issues with height? I have it maxed out for the raised value, and it still sags and rubs, specifically on the passenger rear. (pic for reference attached)

    3. Overall ride quality being crap from day 1. The front is sloppy, even with some preload, and the rear, well... its just a disaster.

Anyone experiencing any or all of these issues?

Does anyone know the RAT # for the rear shocks? Im gonna just bite the bullet and purchase replacements, but ST requires WE look up the RAT number on the shock...?!

Is there other shock options known to be compatible ? Springs even?

    Setup: 255/35/19 conti's
    19x9.5 Niches.

    Thanks in advance Fellas.

Hate to say it, but you may have been sold a set with more than 10K miles because STs should not ride like crap from the getgo. In all my years with direct and indirect experience with STs, they have been a good product and most will agree. I have though, heard of their rear springs sagging over time as it's manufactured by KW. Since you're biting the bullet for rear replacements, why not just spend a bit more and get brand new ones or pick up a set of Solowerks. These are another coilover setup where I've heard and experienced positive things on. Occasionally, you'll have the sour apple that falls from the tree but heck, at least you're getting BRAND NEW ones and not having to worry about inheriting someone else's problem.

My ST's lasted about 2000 miles before they had to be sent back and rebuilt.......Personally i would throw out the ST rear shocks and buy either Sachs or Bilstein Sport shocks, the rear spring height is a known issue, KW/ST is either giving avant springs or spring spacers to correct the issue. I sent my whole set in, had them rebuilt, sold them then bought the Bilstein B12 Sportline kit and couldnt be happier.

I bought these brand new my friend. I think you read it wrong. Ive put about 10k miles on them, but have had serious issues for quite a while.

I'm actually pretty surprised that you don't rub like crazy with a 255/35/19 on 9.5" wheels and dropped. What offset are those rims? I'm sitting at about 26" Ground to Fender all around on 8.5" wheels with same tires and still get an occasional rub. I'm on SoloWerks and am very happy with the quality so far, especially for the $$. I agree with everyone else on here though, ST usually has a great product...maybe yours were beaten up? Take a look at SoloWerks if you decide to go another direction.

My car is only used for DD. Just typical highway driving to and from work. I can't imagine why they are beat up.. . I should also mention the rubbing has been there since day one, its just gotten progressively worse.

Im definitely thinking of going a different route. The bilstein b12 looks like a viable option as well as the soloworks.

IMHO solo works are a downgrade from the STs and a B12 kit.
