Audi A4 B8 2012 Concert (Non Bose) Bypass OEM Amplifier - Need Radio/Amp Wiring Info

    Hey Guys,

Been searching for ages on the net and these forums but cannot find the answer to my question. Hoping you gurus can help out.

    Scenario and Goal:
    - I want to remove the OEM Amplifier on my Audi A4 B8 2012 with Concert Radio (Non Bose and Non MMI). I will be replacing the Amp with a DSP and Amplifier.
    - I DO know that I can use the High Level Outputs from the OEM Amp however I want a cleaner signal into the DSP and less equipment in the car. There are plenty of write ups about the high level output wiring and colors - I don't need this.

Challenges 1: I want to know what the NON High Level wires are in the OEM Amp harness. The twisted pair wires are as follows:

Orange / Violet -- Orange / Brown : Can Bus (Purpose: Switch on amp, Other ?)
    Green / Black -- White / Black : Audio ?? (??)
    Green / Blue -- White / Blue : Audio ?? (??)
    Green / Yellow -- White / Yellow : Audio?? (??)
    Red / Violet -- Brown / Violet : Audio ?? (??)

Challenges 2 : What will not work if I remove the amp from the system.?
FYI - If I have unplugged the harness from the OEM Amp and the radio turns on and seems to function normally
Does the CAN BUS Serve any other purpose for the amp?

    Challenge 3:
Best place to get Remote Turn on for DSP?

    Thanking you in advance!!

By a PAC audio adapter for that model it will solve all your problems and yes the can bus controls speed - climate - and oil display. Disconnecting will throw errors.

If you have Bluetooth audio module currently that will cease to work because the output into speakers will be bypassing amp now.
