    Hey guys,

My oil sensor light came on. Do I need to purchase an OEM level sensor? Or can I get the other one ECS carry's for half price?

I replaced my oil level sensor last Fall. I went with a Bosch sensor and I occasionally get an intermittent implausible signal code from it, so I'd recommend going with Hella, which was the brand of the sensor I removed (OEM as thetikm stated).

Personally, I'd spend the extra $20 for an OEM sensor and never worry about it. There have been so many posts here about using non-OEM electrical items and users having to go and replace them again and again (and again) because they keep going bad that I will avoid pretty much all aftermarket parts, even if it is from the OEM supplier.
