    The fact that I canít even hookup at 2500 rpm launch at all on street tires now itís not worth it. But would it be cool yea...

    that and we can't even do real burnouts at the strip...kind worse off then RWD cars now. and that was the best part of a dig our killer launches

    Good deal on the Tunes Chris...and I'd get to use the 75mm TB and 4" intake I already have. I'll let you know after I put about 400 more miles on car to ensure still evap, pcv code free. I really want to put that iABED TB back on my car...big difference in response and acceleration.

    If any of you have time...is this about what's to be expected with my logs? They sure looked a lot better with 75mm and Brsik at .024 & .025

    Yea tbh if youíre running DP, TB and ported blower etc makes sense to go a step colder. Mine run fine got those dragy results with them so they work lol.

    You can also look at the ground strap but I use meth not much to read.

    These are what mine looked like after 9 months. All the while on 100 oct or at least E27-E30. Plugs 3,4,6 gapped at .024 and the rest at .025

    if that's directed at me...giac race map 100oct. But I'm real unhappy with the drivability of the DSG tune on race map and the fact that I had to take TB and 4" intake back off because they haven't revised their file for the codes a lot of people are getting with larger TB when other tuners did so in a day or two. And I've never had a log where the rpm went to even 7000 and it's supposed to be at 7200. And they don't personalize files for meth etc, just 2 files pump and race.

    So that's my interest in looking into switching tuners

    I'm bleeding more boost with the stock tb back on the car...and I miss the response time for acceleration of the 75mm TB, need to get that puppy back on there quick :)

    Just ran my first monthly scan since my Stage 1+DSG tune and throwing the engine speed exceeded as well. Glad to hear it's nothing to worry about but will be happy to see it sorted eventually for same OCD reasons!

    Tune is fantastic, can't imagine the car without it now. Car runs smoother (plugs probably helped as well), and under spirited driving is really awake now. DSG tune is interesting... was hoping some of the stop/go traffic lurching in 1st might be reduced but still does it from time to time. Shifts are definitely faster in Dynamic/S under hard throttle, not much change at all that I can tell in D. One thing I was curious of from others with the DSG tune, I find that in S it will still sometimes shift early if you have just tipped into the throttle after an earlier shift? For example, shift from 2->3, push maybe 1/4 more throttle, and it will not run the RPMS up, shifts at 2500-3000. Seems like if I'm not in it hard through the previous gear, the next point is already 'decided' regardless of more throttle. Probably user error.

    For those of you running Water/Meth... Are you running the water/meth file? I plan to install water meth and I want to only run the water meth with a switch. Do I really need to have the file for water meth?

    I was chatting with Chris recently, and it sounds like the answers is "yes" to get the full benefit. Reading elsewhere, you might be able to run some water/meth to lower IATs on a non water/meth tune. But if you are on the water/meth file and then you want to switch off the water/meth then you will want to switch to a non water/meth tune. I don't know how big of a benefit (I haven't seen the data) one might get from running water/meth w/o the water/meth tune (lower IATs are obviously good). You don't want to run the water/meth tune if you don't have water/meth.

    I ditched (back burnered) my plans to run water/meth until I see what summer really brings. Getting methanol in quantity and ensured quality at a reasonable price where I'm located hasn't shown to be the easiest thing to do.

    I think it is worth talking to Chris though about your plans/goals for guidance.

    No you donít have to have the file to run W\M wonít hurt anything you just wonít get all the rewards of having it. Higher timing etc.

    Ok thatís what I figured. Iím probably going to get the water meth file and the dual pulley file and I can switch it on and off. Iíll be pretty much the same setup as evil except Iím running the 187mm crank pulley.

    Theyíre in a hidden folder called data logging sessions, theyíre encrypted but if you ask tony or Chris for a template that you can see they will do it eventually. More to come with it be patient.

    whoops disregard moved ? to beyond stage II...

    not sure yet... the price point and being active on here is awesome though. If I change it will be EPL.

    I am getting the P2279 & P0068 codes because giac, and I know everything is right with the install, they've taken it off and on now 4 times and always has those two.

    My other codes resolved so I know it's tune related. So far hasn't caused any issues. Still testing drivability of their tcu tune with the ported sc and 75mm tb.
