I'm not surprised, everyone I spoke to said "don't do it. It won't fit" I had the wheels sitting there for about 1 month. I'm glad I did.

I'm running 275/30 tires. 10" wide wheel though, dunno if that makes a difference in regards to fitment and rubbing

I did a ton of research and measured quite a bit. I used this site: http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 to calculate everything. I don't particularly care for the stretched tire look and also wanted to be as close to the overall stock diameter so that the speedo and odometer would be accurate. The 275/30 size was pretty close.

I went a bit too far on the offset of the custom BC Racing wheels though. I'm running 9.5" with et20 and get rubbing when I lower the car too far. I think et 22-23 would have been perfect, its that close.

I used that site too and came to the 275 conclusion for the same reasons you did...that and 265 tires are less common and hence twice as pricey. I know J_sims is running the same series tires too because I copied his exact wheel fitment I'm running et30 on my 20x10 and only get rubbing when the car is fully loaded or go through sweeping dips.
