So i collected my S4 on Friday, driven it 350 miles home from Aberdeen in Scotland back to England, drives really nice my observations...
CRYING/SCREAMING/BEGGING for a short shift kit, the standard throw is almost like a transit van so this is going to be a MUST, iv done a little research and see the JHM comes with high praise?
Its lowered on H&R springs and although the ride isnt crashy it feels maybe a little "skittish/unpredictable" over bumps? Long term most likely to replace with some coilovers, any recommendations?
Someone has previously tried to add on a boot lip spoiler and colour code it in and done a terrible job so the bootlid will need repainting, its a flat colour and my bodyshop guy said he will match it no problem and at the same time have the bottom of the passenger door redone where someone has done a bad botch job of repairing a scratch/ding or whatever.
So here you should be able to make out the poor paint job on the top of the bootlid...
Here is the mark at the bottom of the passenger door that also needs sorting...
Few pictures here of the car, overall she is a really well kept motor - touch over 100k miles, has just had two new rocker gaskets done and a full service inc cambelt/waterpump etc and comes with a massive stack of previous history.
Running a full miltek system, Wagner uprated intercoolers & piping, H&R Lowering springs, B6 S4 uprated calipers/discs/pads, remapped by Celtic tuning to an estimate of about 330/340bhp.
