    Choices: A5 coupe B8 vs B8.5 2.0Tfsi

So I am stuck choosing my next car.
Since I can get both basically as good as new with less the 10k KM I am unsure what to do.

The B8 comes with 211HP and seems to have more options available when adding some speed to it(going by what I see on the REVO site).
The B8.5 comes with 225HP bit has less options available so far(no K04 from REVO).

So what would the best option be?
I'll definitely end up modding it to add some more power to it.

And yes the S5 or A5 3.0T would be a better option when it comes to power.
But I need to keep in mind the distances I am doing everyday and how much fuel costs over here.

Any owners want to voice their opinion?

    Thanks

I would get the B8.5 to avoid the engines with the oil consumption issue.

I know you're in Europe but. Anything thats available for the 8 is available for the 8.5. This includes the K04. The motor is identical. The ECU changed slightly but both have a full range of tunes available. So if you like the styling of the 8.5 buy that, or buy the 8 which I assume is a bit cheaper and use the difference to go K04 and have the best of both worlds.

I guess I have to look into other tuners.
Was looking at REVO since is one in Germany which is only a short ride for me.
Because according to REVO no k04 tune was made available or the 8.5.

Good to know the b8 had a oil consumption problem.

    Pricing isn't that much different.
Both are 2013 cars, just different version.

You're correct on REVO not having a K04 tune. But that applies for the B8 too iirc, unless that has changed in the last year. I'd go with B8.5 just because it has the updated MMI, and flat bottom steering wheel if you get the Sline package.

According to their website they offer a stage 3 which requires a k04 turbo for the 211hp model.

There is a bigger gain from stock to stage 1 on the 225 go model.
But it seems most tuners end it there.

Revo has a tune for B8 K04 but it is not officially released for the US market, no clue about the B8.5.
