    Widest Tire on S3 8V?

What is the widest tire that people have been able to fit on the S3 8V, without any major trimming of sheet metal? Having some trouble finding this information.

Not talking stretch, I'm talking performance; i.e. could I fit a set of 255 slicks?

    Thanks.

I am running 255/35-18 PSS on 18x9 ET 48 and will be switching to 18x9.5. Switching to coilovers gave me the space needed on the inside. I currently have no tire and no wheel poke.

Aftermarket rims. Just wondering what people have successfully run.

That whole thread seems to comprise of people running 235's on a 9+" rim; not what I would be going after.

    That's encouraging.
