'11 A3 Multiple light faults, hit brakes h/l goes out, ext lights going nuts help!

My 2011 A3 TDI. Last nite driving home I got a message on the cluster for pass side dipped headlight out, then immediately following that, another fault for pass side lowbeam, then one for tag light. My lowbeam turned off, then turned back on. Then a string of faults followed that I can't even remember them all. All of them were exterior lights, fog, turnsignal, brake, etc. Chaos ensued, heads/fogs turned off then back on, turnsignal blinked super fast as if the bulb was burned out, then it kinda just stopped. After an hour of driving all my headlights and fogs appeared to still be working, even tho the yellow fault symbol was still illuminated in the cluster. Then when I hit by brakes, the pass side low beam (or fog light, not sure which) would go out, then turn back on when I got off the brakes. Dash lights slightly dimmed when I hit the brakes, just everything randomly going nuts. Got home, turned the car off and back on...no issues. Everything worked fine with no problems and no fault symbols. To my knowledge all of the bulbs are OE or OE equivalent. Is there a BCM, comfort module or central lighting control in these cars that may go bad? There are only 2 other electrical issue
My keyless entry doesn't work from the flip key (even tho light flashes red, and I replaced battery and tried all of the programming sequences I could find on the search)
The steering wheel symbol (for electric PS I believe) on the cluster is ever so slightly illuminated (yellow, not red) even when car is off, and key is out. I can only see it when it's dark. Any leads would be appreciated. On a side note I don't have a VCDS at this time, but will be purchasing one in the near future.

Update. Someone had installed 100 watt lowbeam headlight bulbs before I bought it (I had only owned it 2 weeks when this happened) the additional draw on the circuit over the OEM 55 watt bulbs melted the 15 amp main fuse in the engine compartment that feeds the right side of the car. Changed back to OEM bulbs and replaced the fuse. Problem solved.
