Thumbs up Got my Carl phone mount - beyond cool

OK, the phone mount arrived today and wrapped to travel the globe. Opened it up and said, "Wow, the simplest solution is typically the best". Went out to my car and it took me about 2 seconds to remove each vent, being careful to pull a little all the way around, a little at a time. Vents came out very easy. Then I just put the phone mount up to the dash and inserted, carefully and slowly the first vent, making sure the orientation was correct. Then the second vent and just like that it was installed. I checked vent operation and made sure the vents were pushed in flush all the way around. Then I put my phone on it and out holds it very nicely. I did insert the provided thin rectangular piece of steel between my phone case and the back of the phone.

I want to post pictures but for some reason it says I am not permitted to post pictures at the bottom of the screen under permissions. What's up with that?

Anyway, this a well thought out perfect solution for our cars and our phones.

You need to post pictures on another services like Flickr, Imgur, Photobucket, Instagram, etc and then add the URL to the image file here. It's a bit of a pain and a pretty common question.

Or just download tap talk and post directly from your phone gallery.

Do you have an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus?

I have a 6 Plus, and when I hold my phone up between the air vents.. it doesn't look like it really fits well between them.

i would like to know how you have it fitting in landscape mode, there is no way my note 5 will fit, it hits the vents and doesnt allow the magnet to grab

Don't rotate on the magnet. Remove and place as shown. Below.

I couldn't get it to fit, when I rotated when it was already on the magnet. So, I took it off and put it on directly like it is sitting in the photo and it worked.
