    ORP Heatshields

These are everything you need, less a filter, for an aftermarket intake setup.

    It comes with:
double layer zinc/steel heatshield cut to fit w/side moldings to cover sharp edges
support brace that mounts to the factory bolting point and also has holes to relocate the ICM
2 longer bolts for the ICM relocation
    one 1/8" pop rivet.

all that is needed for install is a wrench set and rivet gun

the two threads about this are here
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...threadid=70269
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...threadid=68766

Cost is $40 shipped anywhere in the US. For anywhere else, contact me.

filters recomended are the K&N Rx-4960 or RU-4960. they can be purchased at a local auto store or here:

    i thought aftermarket intake's don't make much of a diffrent on A4's.

This one is good... I didn't see much of a gain but it did help out with spool a noticable amount. I hit full boost (18psi) by 2100 rpm. Plus when I open up the hood, the filter is always cool to the touch.

Plus you get the nice turbo sucking noise and the diverter valve can be heard.

Instead of riveting it. Can you just screw it to the bar or something?

goto home depot...buy some sheet metal and an aluminum strip..theyre in the exact same section right beside each other

all you need is a cutter of some sort and a dremel helps out as well

i made my own..spent like $8 in parts, minus the carbon fiber..i already had it laying around my house, it was like $40 for the sheet i think

    contact via email please.

heres the deal, this is a FS thread for the heatshields i make, not a discussion, Kompresd. keep your thoughts and posts where they belong.

secondly, please pm me or im me at offroader1006 on aim if you intend on purchasing this from me. i make them when i receive payment, and i make them when i get the chance. i dont do this for profit, as i spend about an hour on each and 20 bucks in parts+shipping. i do this to help guys out who cant or dont want to have to make this themselves.
