2015 A3 owners, where do you put your cell phone?!

Just picked up my first German car, coming from Japanese all my life.

I really like the MMI placement, it's very convenient where you don't have to even look at the buttons to use them.

But I'm missing an area to put my cellphone, iPhone 6S Plus.

My cupholders are usually full. I thought about getting a sticky mat, but the popup screen blocks that.

This is a really annoying problem for me. Anyone else?

Those take you to the same (pretty cool looking) product. Probably the option I would go with after comparing.

I ordered one of these from our member who saw a need and designed and produced this part. I hope to have it within a week. I will post the install and my thoughts once it arrives. I really like that it puts the phone right where I want it, requires no drilling, screws, tape, glue, etc. Does no damage to the car at all.

Order the Carl mount - it is a solid and perfect solution putting the phone right where you really want it. I love mine. Thanks again Carl.

I ordered the Blue Garuda, since it was much cheaper. It works, but my phone is so heavy that the AC vent can't tilt upward and stay in that position. So the phone just tilts downward a bit. It seems to stay in position with the magnet. Seems fair for $12.

why settle for a mount that tilts when you drive around? the Blue Garuda will flop around and over time probably damage the vent...

just get the CarL mount, nuff said..

The advantage of as you guys call it the "CarL mount" is that your phone is perfectly stable. Does not move. Also it does not block your vents air flow and lastly ascetically it looks nice and OEM. I tried all different kinds but I wanted something high up and stable because I use the Waze app to navigate. Just my opinion.
