havent done anything recently, Checked codes a week ago, worked unplugged battery to change out a oil sending unit, no problem Battery dies, Cant read codes via OBD II hand scanner, Vag-com wont link to it to check codes, "car forgot how to be car."
Throttle body reset itself and wont let the car move until i do a TBA, or so i have read, Which is the majority of the issue, Wouldnt care if the car was working, But its not working and wont let me check the codes. so im kinda stuck here

The car is a 99 AEB 1.8T Help is appreciated :D

Try putting the car with battery on a charger and read the codes with the charger hooked up. Low system voltage can cause problems.
