    Alpine MMI Replacement.

    Just wondering if any of you guys have seen or installed the Alipine MMI replacement headunit.

    It looks good, but they only sell Truck restyles in Merica

    Looks like before shipping it's $2,200 US for the unit LOL

    Highly considering it, just not for $2,500 after conversion / shipping

    How's the rest of the functionality required -> temperature controls etc. Is it pretty easy to use?

    I bought from carfeature.de, but feel free to order from a UK site if you want everything in English. Just don't forget the left hand drive install kit and the trunk handle camera mount replacement(if putting in a camera). Also, if you have B&O, you'll need an additional part from Alpine to lower the signal level. Otherwise, things will be very loud at low volume.

    In regard to ease of use, it's fantastic. I've put an Alpine head unit in every car I've owned, and this is the best one yet. It's very fast compared to past units(one of my few complaints of past Alpine head units), the screen redraw and transitions are very quick. The screen gets moved toward you a bit also, so you're not reaching as far to use the touch screen.
