    DC Area Body Shops

I've been lurking around for a bit, and not an Audi owner (yet...might be an Allroad in my future), but hoping you guys can offer some guidance on body shops. I live in Arlington and work in Rockville, so anywhere around those spots or in between would be preferable. A branch fell on my wife's XC90 so its in need of some love. Who do you have experience with and would you recommend? Another thread from a year or two ago suggested Euro Pros in Gaithersburg. Are they still highly regarded? Any other recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

A lot of people like euro pros. I've used Zamora's as well and overall pleased with them.

My recent experience left me a bit pissed at Euro Pro's. They've done good work in the past. Bring a flashlight, some extra patience (if my recent experience is the new norm), and look over their work carefully before you sign off on anything. You may also need to double confirm your drop off date.

Thanks guys. Getting a quote from Euro Pro's today. Any experience/opinions/feelings about Caliber Collision? Specifically the location in East Falls Church?

National Auto Body in Rockville (off Parklawn) is great. I've had my A4 to them twice, and they've done phenomenal work. Easy to work with, do great quotes, and don't cut corners. Both times I went, I had damage to the rear bumper cover, which they've replaced outright rather than "repair" because he knows the tabs on the back are broken. Afterwards, you'd never know. I also had them respray my front end and that was amazing.

And on top of my car, I recall seeing a couple S4s, a Maserati, and your usual crop of normal cars. Ask for Anthony.

Euro Pros seems legit. Earliest appointment is Jun 20! Wasn't expecting that one...or the $4300 quote. Sheesh!

D and V automotive, they work on exotics and are expensive but you get what you pay for.

Like I said, if you're in Rockville, stop by National Auto Body. Can't hurt for multiple quotes.

Agreed. Planning on stopping there on my way home. Insurance is paying for this so I'm not really sweating the cost. Still blows my mind how much body work costs.

I've used D&V a couple times and while they are priced high, their quality and guarantees are worth the $$.

I'll add them to the list.

Did see this guy at Euro Pros. First I've seen in the wild.

Aldo saw a wide body 993 that had been put into the wall at the track :(

Since my issue has been resolved I figured it would be good to come back and elaborate. My last/recent experience appeared to be a communication issue between their front office and the techs that do the work. Both of the owners went out of their way to correct the issue. I can honestly say if you want it done right take it to them. Their wait is usually longer than other shops because they put out better product than the other shops. If you do go to Euro Pro's mention that Anthony sent you there way (Silver, S5), they might hook you up on that price a little too lol. No promises .

That's how I feel about National Auto Body. They made it easy, worked with my insurance (I've never had supplementals approved so quickly), and always kept me in the loop about it. Mom and Pop shop, family owned. Son is taking over and the father is definitely old-school in terms of doing things right, enough he is still in the shop all the time. Couldn't have been a better experience!

Euro Pro's fixed my TDI. Their work is phenomenal, can't even tell the bumper and fenders were repainted. They also painted my side markers, got insurance to pay for rolling my fender again and then rolled it before painting it so it wouldn't mess up the paint. They are not cheap, but if Insurance is paying, who cares. They do have a long wait to bring in your car in because they are always packed. They are the only Audi Space Frame certified shop in the area. They are also the only Tesla certified shop in the area. 👍
