    Rear o2 Sensor question

    What's up guys!

I wanted to do a little maintenance last weekend but was foiled by being stumped on trying to get my rear o2 sensor out. I recently replaced my exhaust system with HF 3" Cat, rear o2 extender, new down pipe and cat back so this thing has been off before. My issue was that I had no room to get it off even with o2 sensor wrench. I removed my airbox and all miscellaneous hoses out the way while was turning to the left on the rear o2 sensor leaning over the passenger fender, was this correct way or I had to turn to the right? I really hope I wasn't tightening it instead of loosing it.

If you are leaning over the passenger fender, you would be twisting it to the right. Seems you were backwards

That one likes to be difficult. I've got the 034 HFC + 034 spacer on mine.
I use the stubby O2 sensor socket and a wobble extension with a ratchet. Then just get the proper angle on it and turn it little-bit-by-little-bit.
It may help also that I use 034's super-high-temp antiseize paste on the threads.

I figured. There wasn't much space to turn the wrench in between the false firewall and the engine block. I think its like 3-5 inches...

My installer put on my exhaust and I have no idea if he used antiseize. I hope he did! If I can't get it out by myself I am going to reach out to them.
