V1.2 Now Available for S6/S7 4.0T Stage 2 and RS Turbo ECUs

On May 16th, we updated all Audi S6 and S7 Stage 2 and RS turbo 4.0 TFSI ECU upgrades to version 1.2. This new version fixes reports of a “no-start” condition while attempting to first start up the vehicle. It also fixes a report of a P1335 fault code. If you don’t have either of these conditions, there’s no rush to get the update, but if you do, you can schedule an appointment with an APR dealer today. Thank you and Go APR!

RS7 Stage 2 software is available now. To the best of my knowledge, the RS6/7 did not have the no-start condition, or the pcode. If that's not the case, email [email protected], to log a support ticket and we'll nab it.

Oh ok. Sean just made mention of the RS7 file update coming last so wasn't sure what that was for. I don't have it yet. I have my 3rd party downpipe coming that was made to mate up w/the akrapovic exhaust flange so I'll be paying the upgrade fee for the software. My dealer said v1.0 is the most recent on file for my ECU. Is that correct for the RS7? Thanks Arin!

The Stage II V1.2 does seem to have remedied the warm start issue. The guys at NGP Racing in Aberdeen updated that software in conjunction with the TCU tune over the weekend, and everything is running beautifully.
