Recaros installed in the front, rubbing on console

I'm going to take out the passenger seat and make sure I didn't bend any rails in transport/install, but does anyone have any input on this, is it normal for Recaros to rub on the center console? If I adjust the seat at all it makes that terrible leather fart sound, and even just driving I can hear the seat rub and make sounds when I go over bumps etc.

Seats are from a 2008 S4, my car is an 05.5 A4. Thanks in advance

thats normal. i can't imagine that if you somehow bent the rails that you could have bolted it into the car. Also, the consoles are the same size.

Mine dont rub, in fact, i actually see a gap in between the center console and the seat. On my stock seats though, it was pretty normal for them to make some squeaking noises on the center console.

Mine rub only if I move them all the way forward.

I'm 5'11 but I should specify only the passenger seat has this issue. It rubs on the console in the front when it's moved way forward, but in any position it also rubs near the back of the console, which like I said makes little squeaks and rubbing noises as I'm driving normally. Also the fore/aft adjustment is, for lack of a better word, pulsing as it adjusts. Instead of a solid constant motor movement, it seems to have some obstruction which causes it to cyclically have more and less resistance as it spins. Hard to explain maybe I'll put up a video of the sound. This is what caused me to think the rail might be bent or something.

Mine squeaked for a bit too. I just used some leather conditioner for a while and it stopped making noise.
