    Door Locking Issues

    Hey all...I'm sure someone on here will have the answer to this.

    I have a 2010 S5 with smart key.

    All of a sudden the touch lock on my driver side door handle has stopped working. It still unlocks all the doors when I grab the handle, but when I touch the little square in the handle to lock the doors...nothing happens. My passenger side works fine though. Is there a fuse or something could of blown for this? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    It will be the sensor inside the handle. Replace it

    There was a thread on here that I started about the same issue. eBay has a bunch of handles you can grab and it takes a few minutes to swap.

    Another thing that happens is if you don't use the car for a while the car shuts off "non essential" electronics such as the touch lock feature.

    They need to be replaced in pairs, if one goes out both need to be installed.. from what I've heard, don't quote me!
