    Between APR/EURODYNE/REVO/others - are they pretty much the same? in terms of numbers of HP/Torque gained.

    To put something in perspective...my friend (Lambda13) and I are both full stage 2. Both of us have turbo back exhausts, front mount intercoolers, intake, all that bullsh*t...I am unitronic and he is APR. Saturday night while driving through mexico we both stomped it in 3rd and into 4th...guess what...neither us gained an inch on the other.

    They're basically all the same, but quoted numbers on their sites vary due to differing degrees of... Optimism... When they're ranking. That said, they make a huge difference in the feel of the car. I ultimately chose APR due to their large install base on this platform and I haven't had any issues or regrets.

    I would go with the company that stands behind their products. Both software and hardware. Oops, that rules out APR.

    thread jack a little. im looking to go straight to stage 2 rather than wasting money on a stage 1 tune when i am already planning out an HFC install.. also willing to hear who paired what tune with what piping.
    but can i not just go straight to stage 2 apr? the o2 sensor has me worried and dont want to run a code after hfc so figured apr would work... but doesnt seem as tho stage 2 is available until i get a stage 1 map

    yes you can go straight to stage two with a HFC. no o2 spacer required but it may be nice to install one at a later date for emissions testing.
