I want one beacuse i have an Audi 2001 S3 8L with an RNS-e pre 2010, my car have canbus line and it works well, but I have the clock sync error. And i want to upgrade to 2010 RNS-e led and I read that the best way to solve this problems is to use the CANGate.

I will give you a tip, try to use newer c5 cluster i believe 2002 and up the software in it syncs with the clock on the rnse, problems are immo, fuel level, oil light etc, i have not done it but i know it can be done with a lot of tinkering. I actually got the newer cluster already.

Op has an S3. Though you are correct, the 2010 on RNS-E does work just fine with the c5 chassis, as long as you flash it and then code it appropriately.
