Anyone know what would cause an RNS-e to just quit NAV'ing ?

I have two units, both seem to be acting the same, both are 192x 1st gen. 1st Unit is an 8e0 retrofitted to my C5 A6. HAs worked fantastic for a long time. Removed last week to do some fiddling, and when I reinstalled it, it tells me I'm 'off road' , or the route is 'not on the digitized map' ALL THE TIME. I changed nothing. I did nothing.
Simple remove and reinstall. I get anywhere from 3-8 satellites. I've recoded it, factory reset, done everything and it just decided to take a fuck. It will update my position on the map randomly every 2-4 minutes then stop, but it's rarely anywhere near correct.
2nd unit is a 4B0 unit...seems to be acting the same. Did my antenna die for no reason, yet still registers position and satellites?

Waiting for a new NAV antenna to arrive.

    edit-
    maybe I'll make a thread. Didn't see where I was replying. **

Hello everyone. I just upgraded to RNS-E from Concert 2+ ( Double din ). There is alot of talk about Symphony but not so much about Concert 2+ DD. Anyhow, After I installed the RNS-e in my car ( which was pretty much plug and play ), Is it normal for the RNS-E to be on standby mode 1-2 min after turning off the car? Or is it normal?

First post. I know this is an old thread but lets see if this is the right to ask about this:

    I have a 2006 A3 with an 8P0 035 192 C Navigation Plus radio. Can a 8P 035 193 model replace it?

I've read here that there is a period when all the functions don't work right away on other models.

Are there any other issues to expect?

    Thanks!!
