So i habe a epc light that has come on my 2007 audi a4 2.0t. When i push the gas theres lack of power does not want to go passed 60 mph but eventually it does to 80. The boost wont even boost reading the guage the boost doesnt even pass 0. My scanner said its fuel regulator regulator or w/e. Did anyone have this problem and just want to make sure is it the fuel pressure regulator?

Remove your cam position sensor and ensure it is clean. Check your cam follower and if you can log your fuel rail.

I got this code as well but it was from running the engine when the N276 was unplugged, thus the circuit was open. I did this to reduce the pressure in the fuel lines while checking the cam follower. Plugged it back in, cleared the code and it has not come back.

I can clear the codes but itll come back, also takes a while to start sometimes give it gas and it starts also when i rev it while parked it pops/backfires. Changed fuel filter last year spark plugs and coils couple of months ago and also have audi red top coils and ngk on the side just in case brand new.

that car sounds like its running very lean f its popping and backfiring. could be your low pressure fuel pump not feeding the HPFP if the cam follower and mechanical pump check out okay.
