Want to get rid of my tire gap since I put 19s on. My A4 has 60k miles and I want to have a nice comfortable ride and do not want it to ride rough after getting rid of the factory springs. The local shop said Ksport Pro coilovers I should put on. What is your thoughts on these or what other brand would you recommend. Sorry I know this probably has been discussed but couldn't find a thread.

If you want a mild drop to get rid of wheel gap why not a nice spring like a H&R OE or a Eibach spring? These will keep "close" to oem ride quality and give you a nice 1" drop to get rid of wheel gap. There is also the option if you want a OEM++ ride is to go with Bilstein B8 sport shocks & strus. Tire rack actually has a kit with the B8 sport Shocks & struts with Eibach springs for about $750 i think? You could also just do the springs if your shock & struts are in nice shape. But you mentioned you have a "A4" I am not sure they come with the OEM sport shocks to begin with. Do they?

Keep in mind with a "budget" coil over if you live in a area that gets snow & salt there is the potential for them to rust. Coils around $1000 are usually galvanized not stainless and may rust. You could always treat them with a coating during install.

My shocks are not sport ones since it's just a premium. What about 1.5 inch drop? What's a good amount that looks good but doesn't look slammed.

I had ksports kontrol on my Vw. it grenade after 2 years lol.
For the budget it wasnt too bad, mine rust and the collars locked up, I never really cared for them so I never kept up with cleaning it. To adjust the front height you'd have to remove the strut mount.

Look up the suspension/wheel thread for some reference on the spring drops

You will feel every bump in the road with K sports and for that money you get yourself into something decent and still ride well. . I am partial to H&R and KW coilovers myself, but if you want to get as close to stock ride quality you are going to get the H&R OE sport springs are a ticket.

Coilovers Ksport or what you recommend.

Even H&R coils at $1299 will potentially rust if your are in a snow climate in the winter. They are galvanized as well.

H&R OE springs will give you a 1" drop and will ride close to OEM. And get rid of you your wheel gap. At least on a S4/S5.

H&R super sport springs will give you a 1.2-1.5" drop. However... They will ride a little less like OEM & put more stress on your stock shocks & struts wearing them out faster. They are more geared towards if you replace your shocks/struts with a Bilstein B8 sport.

You need to search for Billstein or KW and a4 buddy. In the threads, you'll see pics of before and after which should give you a better perspective. You'll also see everyone's reviews on the individual ones. That would be my recommendation. Do you have an s4 or A4 like you posted? That will make a difference as well man. Best of luck.

I have an A4 2.0 premium. Live in ohio which we get a lot of snow living in the snow belt of Cleveland. Just trying to get people's thoughts what I should get either lowering springs and get new shocks/struts or coilovers. I just don't see myself keep adjusting them. I want a comfortable ride is another concern that has a nice stance.

I'm on the same boat as you. Have the B8.5 S4 and will be using my car year-round on the turnpike weekly... Want the ability to decrease wheel gap in the summer and then raise in winter.
