Injectors not pulsing, no response from ECU!

'98 A4 Quattro 2.8l v6. All systems are working: fuel pressure, spark, MAF. The only thing is the injectors are not working. They are not clogged, they are just not receiving a signal to fire. With the key on, the injector plug-ins read 4.95 volts, but when you turn the engine over the voltage does not rise. Also, I connected via Vag Com to see any codes, and it gives me the message," No Response From Controller!". I also checked with my Autel Autolink, it said, "LINKING ERROR!". What issues cause the Injectors to not fire but all other systems to work? I'm betting it's related to the ECU issue, so how do I begin diagnosing the ECU? Is it a short? A bad relay? Is the ECU fried? It wouldn't make any sense for those, as it's communicating to the instruments in the car, I even put a little gas in each injector port and it started! Is it possibly the k-line for diagnostics? I don't know where to look guys, and the easiest way for me to diagnose the injectors is through the ECU, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks in Advance,

    Austin Szenina

Additional info, the throttle vacuum pump in front of the intake manifold, the lever is broken so it is not opening the throttle body and is probably throwing a code for unknown/incorrect throttle position. Also there are a few vacuum lines disconnected. I'm throwing in any known issues, in case any of them have to do with the injectors.

    Thanks

I guess I'll check the wiring for any disconnected harnesses or breaks in the wiring.
