    Stock 225/45R17 rear tires rubbing

My 2007 A3 S Line rear tires are rubbing when the car has a few people in it and I go over bumps. Stock 17" wheels with 225/45R17 tires. Just got the car a couple weeks ago. Could this be springs / shocks? Any help appreciated.

Can you tell what it's rubbing on? Suspension could be an issue yeah. Have you checked to see if any of the wheel well lining is hanging down? Do you have any type of camber in the rear?

Thanks for the reply, I was fooled, in fact the wheels were not stock and had an ET35 offset. Explains the problem so I swapped them with OEM wheels.
