So my Roc Euro intake finally showed up a few days ago and I just got the time to put it in.
What I like:
First off, supercharger sound in the cabin is freaking awesome. I've had turbo cars before and loved hearing the spool but this is something different. I don't know if it's better but it's cool as $hit!
The divider mount/anchor is a pretty cool design. I would have never thought to use drywall anchors for this application but it works!
Although the intake pipe construction is a tad sloppy with the welds in certain areas, the coating mostly removes the appearance of it. Fit and finish of the intake pipe and the cold air divider is pretty solid. The only way it could be better is to have the top piece of the divider (where the passenger strut town is) anchored to something but that minor.
What I don't like:
The intake pipe welds - maybe its me but I think for over $300, something a little cleaner is not too much to ask
The shipping time - we've beaten this one to death so I won't say any more.
Breather mount - rather than use the zip ties that were included, I was able to kind of wedge it in under the fender a but where it was touching a rubber mount and was pretty secure. Again, minor issue but should be mentioned. The included zip ties were too small/short and I would have rather had a beefier single tie and trimmed it down.
Final Thoughts:
I didn't notice any real difference in throttle response or power but I am sure it makes a bit of difference on the dyno. I opted to put this on AFTER I got the Stage 1 and TCU APR tune so that could be part of it. If I had to do it again, i don't know if I would have gone the Roc Euro route when there are other choices out there, (ECS Tuning, etc) but again, it does the job.
