Yeah I thought so but even on things like tyres because of the warranty on them wasn't sure if that would be the case as well.

Yes but the report isn't as detailed as the report you get from the dealer that did the original work.

Like others said, it's all by vin. I just had service done from one dealer and had them pull up my service from another dealer. It a simple reort with no details. Just states what was done with no details.

My car came from audi beverly hills and has been serviced there as well. That sticks to your car if serviced at an audi dealership

When you buy parts, they also ask for the VIN of your car. One so that they can populate only parts compatible with your car, and secondly to track your purchases.

I bought parts from Pfaff Audi here in Toronto, and my dealer, Midtown Audi knew of my purchases when I went in for warranty. They asked me if I planned on bringing the car in for service, I said I plan on doing my 85k km service ahead of schedule and on my own. They said, good thing you purchased genuine parts from Audi. There is a record of the parts, the part numbers, and the serial number to the specific part I purchased. The service rep said, its to make sure I am installing the proper parts to avoid warranty issues. He then went on to tell me I can receive 15% off on parts at Midtown, since I purchased my A4 through them.

Its all tracked by your VIN, so thread carefully before getting blacklisted if you're trying to swing something lol.
