    modified my shifter today

basicly reducing the length of the linkage on the gearbox selector shaft has the same effect as a traditional short shifter.
ignore the washers packing the bolt out, they are temporary until i determine the final height. this is a 10mm reduction in height.

i was going to make this piece in aluminium but thought i would try and machine out the original bush to retain some damping in the shift.

adjusting the height of the rod end will affect the left/right throw at the shifter
