Which one is better? On paper the APR looks better, but maybe I'm wrong?

Are they that close ? Both are equally convenient, I want the better of the two.

FWIW, I had GIAC on my 2014 and hated it. Idle was rough, redline displayed incorrect which was an immediate sign of a tune if you take to a dealer. I had the TCU tune as well and just wasn't smooth. Perhaps they have since fixed the issues but I went APR all the way!!

I've never driven theirs, and wouldn't comment even if I had.

I can say that we're very proud of our 4L product line. There's a huge amount of work put into every aspect of what we do with these cars. It also helps that several of us own and daily drive them.

The other day somebody asked me "If you didn't work at APR, would you still own that car and still have it tuned?".

My response: "Hell yes".

The tuner in my area didn't have time for me due to being 25 minutes late. Any deals for Eurohanger you can share?

You may want to check with GIAC to see if they have a tune available for your ECU. I have a 2016 and they don't have a tune available yet for my ECU. With that said, I suppose it comes down to how long you'd be willing to wait to see if/when GIAC can provide a tune, or just go with APR right away.
