Best method for cleaning sticky intake flaps?

Been getting a intermittent manifold flap code here and there and it seems like the best thing to do it soak them over night in gasoline? I'm doing a carbon clean as we speak, should I spay them with gas or fill a bin with gas and place the intake manifold in the gas?

Just picked this car up and am not sure on all the nuisances. Thanks.

Is it triggering your ESP light? If so, same thing was happening with me and I replaced the intake manifold flap position sensor and never had the issue again.
