Hello- I was hoping to get some responses on the following question(s):

I currently own a 2013 s5 prestige purchased new with only 6k miles(garage queen) and warranty only expiring 3/2018. Perfect condition inside and out!

Last week we just had my second baby girl arrive soooooooo the s5 really isn't at all convenient for 2 babies(or even one for that matter)!

    I found a used 2013 s6 estoril blue crystal effect prestige w/ 21k miles:
    - clean carfax
    - 2 owner with the following tech: lunar silver interior, LED headlights, power rear sunshade manual side shades, carbon atlas inlays.
    - also has aftermarket wheels (xo luxury) 20" rims- good shape and look decent, but they don't have originals
    - car is in good shape a few chips here and there(nothing serious)....interior a bit worn as well

The s6 warranty expires at the end of this year(so not much time left), and the non-audi dealer bottom dollar price is $49,999. And they are offering me $38 for my s5.
What does everyone think about this deal? Is it worth it? Anything to be aware of with a 2013 s6?

    thanks so much!

i sold my 13' s6 with 36k miles for $42k back in august. 1 owner car, being me. dealer offered me $500 less than CarMax, so I just carmax'd it as I didn't want to deal with private selling/people. at the time I sold my car, market value was several thousand dollars more, $49k seems high especially if the car had 2 owners and its not even CPO'd.

I just got a 2013 estoril blue with full LED, carbon, etc... (no sun shade) with 25k miles and a full CPO for less than that. Not much less but less

I was in a pretty similar situation moved from an S4 up to a 2013 S6 (last weekend) - due to several factors but one of them being 2nd kid on the way in August. The car seats fit great and my first one is still rear facing.

First - Car is AWESOME, don't regret the upgrade

Second - mine is also Estoril Blue with Carbon, LEDs, Innovation package + Cold weather package. I bought it with 48k miles and CPO through 10/18. Paid $46k.

As far as my research went, they don't seem to be inherently unreliable vehicles. Probably will be fine to live without warranty as long as you have a small fund set aside. I have heard that AoA can be helpful for weird failures or failures that occur just outside of warranty.

Car sounds nice but the price doesn't sound so great especially if not cpo. I'd also be leery of how well it was cared for if the owner put 'xo luxury' wheels on it - they just don't sound like the kind of wheel that'd appeal to an enthusiast who'd care for the vehicle

Thanks for the input everyone. I ended up getting a 2015 s6 sepang blue(never owned a blue car before) CPO, one owner with 7K miles ....alcantera headliner, heads up display, 20" wheels, LED's, power rear sunshade manual side shades, black wood inlay with aluminum strips, side assist, diamond stitch black seats. A bit more $ but so far worth it!

You may want to see if you can find an S6 from Carmax. Their extended warranties are awesome from what I understand.
