Why i'm I so terrified having Midas put on my wheel bearings right now?!

I'm sitting in the waiting room waiting for my b8's wheel bearings to get installed. I canceled my appointment with a german specific repair shop cause they could take me in until a few days ahead which is not good for me. I need these done right away. The person who is working on my b8 wanted to see the brand before he worked on them and he knew who *** the manufacuter is. I usually take it to my german specific repair shop. We'll lets see how it goes.

I would not let a Midas tech touch my car, but hopefully it works out for you!

Hopefully even Midas can fix something as easy as a wheel bearing. 4 bolts on the rear and the center hub bolt, easy swap.

It's some hard grunt work, but not highly technical, like Elliott said.

You supply them with 4 new axle bolts? First thing I'd do after getting back is check the torque on those since it's something like 140lb/ft plus 180 degree turn. If you don't see them going with a 4 foot long pipe then they didn't do it right ;)

Haha now you guys got me reall sweating. I'll all walk to the car checking on it. I supplied them with the kit for both left and right bearings and all the screws they need to make it happen

So far so good drove about 4 miles back home. Will see, I like to give it a couple days to see. I looked all around the car and inspected it. Now its time for me to install some parts I ordered.
