    Talked to a car audio center today regarding my setup and he claimed that the BOSE-speakers are standard on S4/RS4 cars....is this really so?

    Yes, all RNSE equipped cars have the Bose setup, not sure about B6's though.

    Doesn't matter, if it's aB7 S4 or B7 RS4 then it should have Bose - just look for the Bose logo on the speaker grilles.

    That's the thing....no bose logo...I was thinking maybe the cabrio didn't come with bose
