if the engine bay is pressure washed and the o ring around a coil was missing causing water to get in, whats the worse that could happen and how would you go about getting the water out?
any help would be greatly appreciated

Run the motor till it burns off? Definitely don't take the plug out.

Alternatively, compressed air will do the trick

Hmm. I would be most worried about that area rusting if anything. You could use some brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner those dry things up pretty quick. Or you could just wipe off that oring surface, put it back together and let it ride

    aluminum doesn't rust.

compressed air would be easiest imo.

    1. Blow it out with compressed air of your choosing
    2. Remove plug
    3. Throw in trash
    4. Get new plug
    5. Install
    6. Profit??

Aluminum only surface rusts, it just doesnt rust through like steel.

Worst case is a mis fire and possible associated issues, id shop vac it or compressed air, whatever you got, and then wait for the residual moisture to evaporate. Before putting it back together.

One reason I need to go back and throw a little rtv on the mating surfaces. Or even that gasket maker goop.

Looks like a V-band clamp. You use it on the exhaust if you have V-band connections
