So I had the tune installed a few days ago and I'm loving it. A few days later I took my car into another shop since I cannot easily visit JHM in Lathrop being in Sacramento. A shop was checking my car for vibrations and plugged in the OBDII to check for any fault codes. I found out it was not engine related but axel related. OK. So the paperwork notes fault code 01314. No visible CEL though. Ross Tech mentions there is no Communication and/or ECU has been remapped or changed. Well that makes perfect sense. I am just concerned come smog time the same code will come up again for the smog nazi or would they not even notice? If they do, then thinking of going back to JHM and getting the stock program installed and doing the program switch via cruise control things every other year. What do you guys think? Add stock program and switch at smog time or leave alone.

Mine came with program switching, but no errors with the VAGCOM cable. I think you'll be fine.

If you don't mind telling what shop was it that you went to in Sacramento?
