Up for sell is my very clean, very low mileage 2000 Audi S4 Quatro. 48,151 miles to be exact, yes you read that correct 48,151 miles! Here is the back story on this car; I purchased this car in 2014 from the original owner, who had it storage from 2010 to 2014. He had it at a shop, where I had taken my VW TDI to for some work, to have them get the car smogged so the owner could then pay the late DMV fees for the four years it sat in storage. The shop owner put me in touch with the Audi owner (who was a regular customer at this shop with this car and his other cars) and we were able to work out a deal. Since I have had this car it was a daily driver for my wife for about a year who has a 15-20 mile commute to work. It was always in the garage at home and a parking structure at her place of work. It has sat for the last year since we had our first child, its a little tight with a car seat in the back. It sits in the garage now with a car cover on it (which is included in the sale). We take it out for date nights or every now and then to run a quick errand, just to keep everything running and lubricated. The car is COMPLETELY stock except I put the rims and tires on and tinted the windows. I wanted to leave it stock for reliability and resale value. Since I have owned the car I have done routine maintenance and the following repairs:
Both front axel/cv?s have been replaced
radiator has been flushed
new battery
engine speed sensor was replaced
2 new engine mounts installed
all 4 window regulators have been replaced
cruise control switch replaced
smog was done and registration was renewed in march of ?16
I have all the records from the original owner and any work I?ve had done since I?ve owned the car, both keys and all manuals. I am selling because I can't justify keeping a 3rd car that gets used 1-2 times a month.
Full disclosure; The original owner had the instrument cluster replaced in ?07 with 32,344 miles on the car. Also, when the original owner had to car parked at his vacation home in the mountains snow/ice slid off the roof of the house and hit the drivers side mirror. It knocked the mirror off the mount and left a small dent in the door. The owner glued it back in place, the motor still works fine and the mirror still functions as it should but it will not fold since its glued in place.
I also have the original rims/tires and a set of stock rim/tires off a 09? S4 that I will include in the sell.
