Do I have to take my ECU out to determine if it is compatible? 05' Allroad 2.7T Tiptronic.

Correct, different engine code. After speaking to APR they can swap the tune from one ECU to another for around $150, which would still bring this to much less than the original cost. You would just need to send both in to be programmed. If you're interested please message me. Thanks.
