Hi all. My name is Wen and I recently purchased an s3. I came from a fully bolted and tuned Gen 2 Mazdaspeed 3. I'm glad to be part of the Audizine community!

I recently installed the JB1 with default map 6 and I am encountering clutch slip at 3 - 6 gears.

I removed the JB1 and brought it into the dealer to check the dsg fluid, which was verified as at the proper level (I don't fully trust they did this). Is there anything else I can check? I don't want to get a TCU tune since I'm only running a JB1.

What boost are you making with the JB1 in those gears?

    datS3doe,
the JB1 ships with the default map being number 1, boost is set at 4.75 psi.
    Map 0 is stock.
Map 6 is a user adjustable boost profile which covers the rpm range from 1500rpm to 7000rpm in 500rpm increments.
If you have any questions get in touch with [email protected] and he will help to answer any question you may have, he's a great guy !!!

if doing launch control, are you experiencing the same thing on map 0?

you shouldn't be experiencing clutch slip at all, take the car into your dealer... it'll be a headache, but they should address as that is not normal behavior.

I'm more curious about what your car is actually doing with the piggyback. The box's
spec isn't always how things play out. If you're getting spikes, it could explain your torque issues.

I'm on map 6; did not change default numbers.

It does not occur on launch control.

I will log boost this weekend.
