    Calling all SoCal members

This is a call to all members in the SoCal area with a 2016 S6 (or S7). I am trying to get a GIAC tune for my 2016 S6 but my ECU version, being too new, has not been read by them yet so they cannot flash the tune via OBD (yet). I have been emailing back and fourth with their sales dept and was told (I am paraphrasing here):

"It is just a new part number that we have not read in yet. It is a new ECU but should be readable by the same method that we read in the 2015. We do it a couple of times a day, not just for reads, but also because it is the only way to bench flash ( for mail order ) the Porsche cars from 2009 and later. All of this is just to read out the stock file so that we can make sure our maps are compatible. Every week the likely hood grows that a customer with your car will come here."

Being that the car is in NJ, I am throwing this out there to anyone that is willing to have their ECU read by GIAC (or even get a GIAC tune!). They are located in Irvine, CA.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Please do not turn this in to a tune/vendor comparison thread.
