Anyone have this same issue? It worked fine until yesterday..

The same thing happened on my old b6 s4 and I think they changed a sensor or something to fix it.

    Thanks for any insight!

Make sure that you have the selector set on the passenger side mirror. Maybe set it to the middle position and then back to the passenger mirror.

Yup, the adjustment switch must be on the passenger mirror for it to work. I think MMI has an option as well. Maybe just look through there.

Set the knob to passenger side. Put car in reverse. Tilt the knob down to set the mirror down position to where you want. Set knob to mid, should reset to level height.

Is this on prestige models? I don't think my p+ has this feature.

pretty sure mine is a P+ not prestige. try what mungie said. I washed my car on Sunday and i want to think my seat memory was reset or something. When i got into my car, the seat was automatically readjusting to my memory 1 position. I wonder if there is a way to get the seat to move back while you get out and in, then go to your memory setting once you are seated.

Every few months it seems I wind up having to reprogram mine using this process. At first cycling between right mirror and center would get it to work again, but once that stops working the reset process is necessary.

    Nice process description.

Your P+ will have this feature IF you have memory seats OR you changed the settings with a vag com. I had it vagged on both of my non memory seat Prem+. However, with the vagged cars, the mirror does not always return to the exact same position when you go forward. It really depends what position you set your mirror.

I don't have memory seats. Could it be that?

That's exactly what I had to do when I was trying to figure out why mine was unresponsive. My MY16' has been intermittent with it. Scanned via VAGCOM and no codes. Seems to work best and repeatably if you keep the detent in the middle and only switch to passenger side when about to reverse.

Hate how my old lady's 2013 C300 4matic does it automatically without toggling knobs ANDDD she has power folding mirrors and I don't

You'll more than likely have to go through the same process again down the road; the "memory" of the position likes to disappear at random times.

I've also read that if the knob is set to passenger side, defrost will not work on the mirrors.
