    Seat Alignment Issue

Since I bought my S4 the driver seat has rubbed against the center console while the passenger seat does not. I have had to put a wash cloth between the seat and the center console, but am looking for an actual fix. One potential answer I had was that the last owner was a bit on the hefty side, and that he wore down the bolster, but upon inspection the bolster was perfect and just like the one on the passenger side.

Maybe it's not the seat, it's the center console that is the problem. Perhaps it was removed and not put back correctly.

Or just go to wally world or lowes and get a strip of Velcro. Use the soft side to place between the rubbing pieces. Problem solved.

Are you noticing the rubbing when you are sitting in the seat? On my 2013 the passenger seat does not rub unless someone is sitting in it. My drivers seat will rub depending on my orientation and how much I am leaning on the bolster. Personally I stuffed a microfiber cloth between them as a temp fix and storage for my microfiber cloth.

I have this on the back of my seatbelt buckles.

Not sure if it was the previous owner who did it or the factory but, works like a charm!

    I have the same issue.

Drivers bolster rubs against the leather armrest. I'm not a big guy either.

Think it could be something warranty could fix?

Same issue. Irritating as f*ck when driving on a bumpy road.

I was planning on just getting a sticky piece of black felt and putting it on the center console.

I'm both glad and sad to see others are going through the same annoying a** problem. The issue with putting something like that between the center console and the bolster is that it'll move every time you life the damn arm rest up. Coming from someone who regularly drives without their sound system on (to hear the DSG farts of course), it is by far the most annoying sound. My campus has a cobblestone driveway, so you could just imagine the pain I go through on a daily basis.

Wow! and I thought I was one of the very few, if any, who had the issue. I was actually looking at the sticky felt pad sheets also. This way I can cut the shape I need to paste onto the side of the center armrest console.
